TOPIC: Say no to chai-paani

In ancient CHina,someone accidently discovered a drink,which was made by boiling leaves of a particular plant.This drink was called as 'cha'. Although capuccino,expreso,latte & many other forms of coffee are finding its way in the menu of the hep urban culture,in India 'chaai' or tea continues to remain India's favorite & unofficial national drink.Its rainy season we need chai,its winter we need chai,its summer we need chai ! Literally translated 'chai-paani' means tea & water,when you tell this to a foreigner.But every indian knows ,this term is the symbol of the deep-rooted cancer of corruption in India.Yes it means the petty bribes asked by the officials.It may not be that "petty" though. Also known as speed-money or bakshish ,its often taken under the table.But daring shamless people dont mind taking it openly.

So how does the new generation make sure we slowly & steadily get rid of this little virus out of our system??

Hey Yaars
Finally I am back into the blog scene.Thanks to my intention of improving my writing skills(due to CAT,XAT,MAT,RAT,FAT....YAT,ZAT and what not) ,and yes to a nice girl who called me during one of my radio shows,and said she had written something about me in her blog.And that she is an obsessive compulsive blogger.Thank U girl for the inspiration.

Ok ,I am not going to let my blog be about my life & my miseries.Simply vomiting on my blog,whatever life kicks me with.(Remember ,I have to improve my writing skills. Life & the world has really really taken me for granted.and NOW I AM GOING TO FIGHT BACK,I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE.ENOUGH IS ENOUGH NOW. I WILL PUT AN END TO HOW ITS TREATING ME.)

I would rather write some interesting meaningful stuff.

And yes for today, thank u so much to my dear friend SHweta Jadhav,and the whole gang of the French play friends.

People,please help me improve to become a better writer.

Raakit Singh -Picchhar review!-from Dubai

Ok Now when you see this movie I am sure it will remind you of your days when you just passed out and joined your first job.And especially if you just scraped through your exams with dying colours!So this is a story about Ranbir who manages to pass his Commerce exams with 38 % marks.Then unlike his ambitios peers who are trying for MBA he decides that he would want to become a salesman.He goes for his first interview and manaegs to get in.The office is full of politics ,bitching, etc.And needless to say he is ragged by his colleagues.He goes to a client visit on the field but disagrees to be corrupt and dishonest.On top of that files a formal complaint on his own company's letterhead.As a punishment he is barred from going on field visits from now on and has to do the job of a cold telemarkerter.But secretly he gets a client visit and manages to go there to find his lady love,whom he sells the computer .And now decides to start up his own parallel computer sales company.He manages to rope in 4 of his colleagues who are partners and carry out the business during office hours using office infrastructure.The small company is succesfull and gives a run for money to the origianal company.The Big Boss manages to catch them 7 buys out his small comapny called Rocket Sales Corp(interestingly named as poor ranbir was ragged by his colleagues by also throwing papaerplanes when he was doing his work).But the boss fails to repeat the success of RS Corp.Only to give the company back to him.


Overall ,you get engrossed in this movie .Nic etopic.But some things are a little exaggerated and such things are difficult in real life.And music not so impressive,but not bad. So rating ........ 3.5 Stars!

LONDON DREAMS MOVIE

Ok So finally i saw the movie.So here is my FIRST EVER movie review ! hehheehe....

Its a story about how jealousy can rip apart relatioships.The first impression you get is that this is gonna be like Rock ON ,the story of a rock band.But as Taran Adarsh has said in his review,London dream's music failed to make an impact. The story starts with Ajay devgan & Salman khan being chaddi buddies in Punjab.Same school,family friends.One has love for music(ajay) while salman doesnt wanna grow up and has no ambitions.Ajay is faced with stiff opposition from his father about taking up music as a career,because of some incident Ajays Grandpa had.Ajay goes to london on growing up to realise his dreams,there he gets the company of two Pakistani performers who finally form a band.Asin ,once in the crowd watching them perform,happens to tag along all their performances,and finally gets to join their band called as London Dreams.Ajay secretly starts loving her,but makes a decision to not to confess her until he becomes a big star.The band gives an audition & finally makes it big.Salman calls him from Punjab and calls Ajay back to meet him after falsely telling Ajay that he is getting married.Ajay takes back Salman after knowing that Salman regularly performs in wedding bands as a Baaja Player,and Salman is now a part of the band too.The band makes it big along with a tour in Europe.Salman starts to get all the fame in the band & also tries to woo Asin.Ajays green eye starts developing jealousy.But on the other hand Salman truely does his performance as a singer so that Ajay gets all the fame he desired for.Ajay finally decides to sabotage his brother-like friend by getting him involved with a woman ,who also got Salman addicted to drugs.The media gets to know this ,causing an uproar in the media world & the fans.Ajay takes care that Salman fails & never comes on stage by involving his co-band member in this conspiracy.On the day of the performance without Salman,after the song gets over,the audience,instead of applauding,demands the return of Salman.Ajay breaks down on the stage emotionally revealing all his dreams & actions.Salman hears this & returns back to Punjab.Ajay on being convinced by his uncle Om Puri goes back to Punjab to get Salman back.Salman was happily performing there in the wedding band there.The entire village is happy after the two friends re unite ,and then decide to go back to London.

A good character was played by Salman,who whole heartedly loved his friend 6 wanted him to realise his childhood dreams. .......... 2.5 Stars !!!
